Nice spot! You were standing on the roof of a building??

This past September @ the London, Ontario Airshow I had the privilege of standing on this spot 43.020514880200444, -81.13378924260236 and having a B-52 come in for landing right on that spot on arrival day for the Airshow. I have been around a lot of aircraft in the Military. That was the LOUDEST thing I ever heard in my life without ear plugs lol Its a rumbling shriek I will never forget. I will never do it again also lol I will cover my ears next time. But I was trying to get video of it going right over me.

Mr. Gaucho, during the B-52 landing, you mentioned the parachute behind the aircraft. It is called a Drag Chute, because it is used to slow down the landing speed after touchdown. Don't want any of my fellow Air Force maintainers jumping on you for that! See you on the next stream!

I came back to watch the stream just so I could see the UN A330! I wasn't able to watch it during my lunch hour today. Nice capture Mr. Gaucho!

A seasoned professional pilot should have no problem at all to execute a side-step maneuver and continue a visual approach to landing on an adjacent runway. After the previous two went around, the Saudia pilot had already likely been assessing if they were in a position to side-step or if they would also have to go around.

What a nice thing to do. Did did you get a picture of the Endeavor being delivered. I was teaching at Alexandria Ave school Normandie and Beverly in LA. We had a great balcony view to Downtown to Hollywood Sign. So we tracked the 747 carrying the Endeavor to downtown then to JPL. Then it made a right to go perpendicular to line up for where they would turn right again to line with LAX. So I had kids on my balcony waving coats and sweaters file folders anything to get their attention stood on chairs. Some kids are too clumsy. 3 rd graders well they suddenly turned our way. ( my dad was a B 52 pilot so I spent lot of time on flight line with my dad so I knew they made a deliberate turn. I announced they were coming. So the principal didn’t want all kids on the playground so he made no announcements. So my aid started calling her friends who called other aids so many teachers got kids to the playground. Some teachers were eating lunch but most came out. The plane hi dip of the wings like dad’s coming back from a trip. Very obviously with the endeavor. We all so excited we forgot to take pictures. But the flew over the school so other kids got to see it. I had to chase a lot of kids off the balcony. 1960’s building so I was afraid with my kids jumping up and down and weaken the balcony if more kids coming up to wear we were. The principal wasn’t happy about all these kids coming up to the balcony and jumping around. I explained that I had seen all those not in my class off the balcony. Safety was my concern .All this to see an airplane go by.He only saw the tail of the 747. When our tech person printed out pictures in did he understand what the fuss was. He didn’t apologized. But he always pointed out the pictures when guest came. He even told them one class got them to fly over the school as we waved. No not a nice little wave. It was a memorable day for sure. They some pictures from your post. I bet that gets crowded up there when VIP’s come to town and these new supersize planes coming it. Thank you for your videos.
